This week has seen the death of Netscape, the birth of the Mozilla Foundation, and finally, another post to this blog. From where I sit, these are all monumental occasions.
For anyone who happens across this site, please note that I am not modifying the template/layout/design on purpose -- my reasons for beta testing TypePad center around my interest in recommending the service to friends and family members who want their own web site, but don't have the knowledge to setup and install MovableType, and who don't want to pay someone else to do it for them (I would normally take on this sort of responsibility myself, but there are only so many hours in the day).
Nothing I do during this beta period will be anything more than what I can imagine a non-web person would do, which means no mucking about with the CSS, no late-night Photoshop inspiration, and only the most basic tags used to markup the contents of any posts. To those of you who enjoy Superfluous Banter, this might be a terrible disappointment. My apologies.
I will say this: I am enjoying the hell out of Moblogging -- I don't think I'll post to this site at all from now on except via email, and I can't wait for that feature to come to MovableType or MovableType Pro.
